The Transport Ministry and #Malaysia #Airports Holdings Berhad (#MAHB) have plans to acquire #land owned by the #Sarawak Multimedia Authority (#SMA) to enable the project to upgrade the #Kuching International #Airport (#KIA) to be carried out.
An application would be submitted by the ministry to request the funds to acquire the land, which is next to KIA, under the Fifth Rolling Plan of the 12th Malaysia Plan (#MP12) next year.

When you land in #Australia, you have these officers from the Australian Border Force that might stop you just after going through immigration. They will ask you questions and, depending on how they feel about you, make a cryptic note on your arrival card.
For example, if you are a white male travelling alone from a south Asian country, they will absolutely flag you for obvious reasons.
Later, when you hand over this card to the customs officer, they will inspect your luggage depending on several factors, including whether your arrival card has been previously marked by a Border Force officer.
So what is the point of this exercise other than #security theatre? Because there is nothing preventing you from completing two arrival cards and swapping them if you happen to be stopped.

Kuala Lumpur International Airport (#KLIA) is a rather large #airport that is served by a multitude of full-service and budget carriers.

在香港机场，看到乘飞机去游玩的，不论是家人或是朋友，都会在登机口标识下拍照合影。这么多人都这么做其实有点出乎我的意料……可能这种看似幼稚的记录旅途开始行为就是所谓“生活的仪式感”吧，挺好的。
At #HongKong #airport #HKG, I saw that many groups of people, be it family or friends, take #selfies in front of the boarding gate to mark the start of their vacations. To be frank, it does surprise me that so many people still do that. I suppose such seemingly-naïve behaviour is what is called “#sense of #ritual”, which is admirable.
Craziest landing approach there ever was and ever will be for a major airport. Hong Kong Kai Tak Airport was closed in 1998.

The departures board at Frankfurt airport includes high-speed trains as well.
Everything marked as terminal T is a train departure from the train station that is directly connected to the airport. They have Lufthansa flight numbers too!
Such a half-baked idea... building an airport train, but only running it at half-hourly intervals outside peak. (Sigh) Yes it's Brisbane's Airtrain.
(And yes I'm aware Melbourne still doesn't have an airport train at all. Also sigh.)
