I love winding trails and think they're that way by design probably because most people like winding trails. But I find photographing winding trails hard because it's in many ways like capturing stone skipping over water.
Anyway, I like the first picture here because it captures 7-8 turns in the trail. The second picture captures 5-6 turns.

13.3km Thanksgiving Day walk on a trail I didn't know existed in the city. The trail is very well designed: mostly by a creek w forest on at least one side (mostly both sides). It connects to many residential neighborhoods yet is away from homes. Small parts of the trail are behind homes but w lot of separation and greenery. 🌳🚶♂️ 😀
Again, because we started late, left about 2.5kms of the trail un-walked (5km total). Gotta do better.

16.2km river walk yesterday. Mostly sunny and occasionally windy, also chilly when in shade, but overall good walking conditions.
It was good opportunity to get that 25km walk I've been longing, but it wasn't to be: should have started at least an hour earlier and carried jackets. Next time. 🤞

6.6km walk today in fantastic walking weather. Happy with both the pace and HR. Plus, it was great to see the neighborhood pond after nearly a month. The fountain looked especially nice.
In the pics, I love how the colors, sunlight, and shade come through. I also like how the water particles stand out in the second pic but feel I could've done better.
And apropos the season, the walk's trace looks like the outline of a Christmas tree. 🌲

Sadly, found a crack in left mug. That's a first but will be careful next time. ⚠️
Each mug has a cartoon tandem bicycle going all around, making it hard to get the full picture in one shot. So, I placed the mugs such that most of what's on the body is visible in a single picture.

A short, relaxed 4km walk last Friday to get our legs back on home turf. Many "bird heavens", I mean plants bearing colorful berries. Also the neighborhood waterfall was back on (had been diverted for repairs).

18.3km hike/walk yesterday (Monday) on "Panoramaweg Ost" in Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm. The map says 4hrs 15mins for 16.5kms and 178m elevation but we walked a bit more and uphill (280m elevation) in 4:09 active time, 4:55 total time.
This was the last outdoor activity on this Bavarian visit, but there will be more and I can't wait to be back to see friends and family again.

Last Saturday, 11.25km hiking, trekking, and climbing Taubenstein and Rotwand in the Bavarian Prealps. Rode the lift up to save time and thus the trek and climb up was not too demanding. The steep hike down to Spitzingsee however was taxing, as reported by my glutes the next day. 😣
The weather was perfect for the outing and everyone had a great time. Even the teenager (for the most part). 😀

10.3km hike today in fields and forests of Scheyern. Temperature felt like 8C (46F) due to clouds, 27kmph winds.
Nothing special about the hike/trails but everything is clean and accessible. Beware the landmark "Keltenschanze" has literally nothing to see except a sign. 😞
Scheyern is a beautiful town. I've visited a few times, including the monastery, brewery, and the biergarten. Christmas is a good time to visit.

6.8km hike yesterday (Thursday) in a different Bavarian forest (this one belongs to a city). Fantastic network of world-class trails with lots of activity and learning "pfade" (paths) for kids and adults. Not to forget the towering coniferous and deciduous trees, and the awesome smell of (fresh cut) conifers throughout.
My words and pictures don't do justice. I recommend a visit to experience it yourself.

The deinterleaver is a step in the published design. This relates to the uplink receiver on an amateur payload or central node in a ground deployment.
