I'm watching #Severance on #AppleTV. I skipped an episode and wondered why time seemed to have jumped, but the show is so surreal I didn't really question it - plus so much happens that it's hard to slow down and ponder things.
It wasn't until they started talking about the baby goats that I wondered why I hadn't actually seen the mythical things.

Trying to stream #Mnufc on my Android phone, but #AppleTV once again ruining my #MLS paid experience. Its a crap shoot whether it works or not. If they don't fix this bullshit service, I'm going to start learning the names of these #USL teams.
I know #Apple goes out of their way to frustrate #Android users, but if I pay you to stream me MLS, then fucking stream me MLS.
Watching 'Silo' on Apple TV, which I'm liking quite a bit., although it is not exactly the most cheerful uplifting thing Doesn't quite reach the special effects in the book 😃 but then the movie of the book rarely does.

twitter tried to normalize paying up to use the service and everytime they had a fork in the road where it said “evil route to profits” or “good route to profits”, they chose the evil one. Other social networks saw this as their chance to pick the “less evil route to profits” and start charging for verification and api calls. Just watched the finale of Ted Lasso. Stupid #AppleTV: 70% of the time the picture was completely blurry. #LoveOfMyLife says the picture was mostly ok. I don't think it was the Internet connection. I have a 700Mbps connection downstream. I think it was just bad video/image quality. I am gonna complain to #Apple, want my money back!

The first two episodes of #Silo seemed really dense and full of story, background, and plot development, and also a bit slow.
This is another show that I'm hoping isn't all mystery for its own sake (looking at you, #1899 😤).
I read several posts where people raved at how great the show is. So far, it's good, and I can see how it might be great.
This next episode should solidify its trajectory, I think.

The good thing about starting when it’s almost over is that you can binge watch if you want to, and believe me, there will be episodes where you absolutely want to binge watch to see what happens next!

Drops of God on Apple TV Plus is one of the best shows I've watched. Strange for a show without the usual things I like. Action, science fiction, fantasy, fight choreography. Writing allows great character development and unexpectedly suspenseful. #Amazon #PrimeVideo is garbage on both my #AppleTV boxes today. On one device, episode 9 of Maisel won’t play at all (but other Prime Video content will). On the other device, this episode and others show no video but play audio just fine. And I have already paid money for this “service.” It actually feels like a kind of highway robbery.

To me, it seems #DisneyPlus believes that #StarWars and the #MCU are enough, not realizing that both franchises are near (past?) peak interest with casual fans.
There's not enough other, unfamiliar (to many), quality content on the service to keep it a need, rather than pure luxury.
I've already cancelled #Prime, and I'll probably cut at least one more service.
I may keep #Hulu, #Max, #YouTube, and #CriterionChannel, and dump #Disney and #AppleTV. #Netflix is borderline.

I have been watching #Extrapolation on #AppleTV. Yet another very good series. I feel like their quality of programs beats #Netflix's quantity of programs.

Watching #Silo right now. This show gets better with every episode. I highly recommend it!
It's a bit weird to me that I just don't want to commit to Apple TV amidst the many other streaming services I have, and I have MANY, because Severance was absolutely brilliant, and I LOVE Ted Lasso. And there are other shows I am hoping to binge during this free 3-month period (Mythic Quest, For All Mankind, Hello Tomorrow, and Schmigadoon).

We watched the first episode of #Shrinking tonight on #AppleTV. I really like Bill Lawrence and Jason Segel's work, so this was right up my alley - also, Harrison Ford appears actually engaged. I'm looking forward to watching more episodes.

Unearned emotionality at every step. We hardly get to know a character and then all of a sudden they're having an emotional moment we're supposed to be invested in but we just met them so have no context. (Ted Lasso did this last season too.)
