Update: A Youtube video he published just before sentencing included him flying an airplane.
The FAA says his pilot certificate is still revoked.
Now: If the woman he was flying with has as pilot certificate, there's no problem, she can hand over controls to him and it can look like he's flying the plane.
But if she doesn't, he's probably committed a felony.
FAA is currently not forthcoming about whether it'll press further charges.

Anyway, I wanted to do something different and see if I can (ab)use the #Wikidata Query Service to render a map. So I created a SPARQL query to display all of the domestic routes flown by PAL Express, Cebu Pacific, and Cebgo, three of the most popular low-cost airlines in the #Philippines 🇵🇭. Each route between two airports are color coded depending on which airline(s) fly the route.

Bankstown is a bit chaotic right now. They’re doing “roadworks” to rebuild taxiway A, and they’re using runway 11L/29R as a replacement taxiway, but because it’s a runway you need a clearance to enter it.
Eastern run up bay on A is unavailable.
So you get a taxi clearance to the western bay; then you get an onwards clearance to “enter runway 29R at A3 and backtrack to A8, hold short of 29C.”
On arrival, they sequence you onto 11C/29C, then you vacate and wait at the hold short line before the northern runway, and they give you a taxi clearance via 11L/29R to your parking.
I got a bit confused this morning and taxied half way across the field looking for the eastern run up bay, because the NOTAMs don’t mention that it’s closed (it’s “open” but inaccessible because all the taxiways reaching it are closed). Ground controllers were helpful with me.
“Lesson learned,” but it won’t matter because next weekend the closures will be different because the roadworks will have moved on. #avgeek
