We see the fluke - the tail of a sperm whale - coming out of the water as the whale orients itself from horizontal in the water to vertical in preparation for its deep dive as it goes hunting for squid in the depths. The tail is almost entirely vertical. The rest of the image is sea.

We are planning to do some hiking in the #Azores so we wore our hiking boots to save room in our luggage. Of course, we had to take them off to get through security. #Lisbon Airport gave us plastic foot covers to keep our socks clean. A nice touch!
