I have been sitting noticing that orange is the colour of the day.

Our orange tree is absolutely laden this year, woo-hoo 🤩

Anyone got any tips on how to diversify the species coming to your bird feeder? I've got suet and an unknown mix of seed. This is what my setup currently looks like.

The wife and I have our first blooms of the season in our little planter in the back yard.

The lily didn't come up last year, so it's new to us this year. I think it's a Trumpet Lily or a Raindrop Lily? Maybe someone can tell me for sure.

The chrysanthemums we had last year, so it's nice to see them coming back this year.

We had these Chrysanthemum last year as well, so not surprising that they came back this year.

I got home at 2 am, a little tired 😊.
This morning I went out to the backyard to check if my veggies had survived while I was gone, and... 😳😱

Eggplants, Armenian cucumbers, banana peppers, different kinds of tomatoes, green beans, Shishito peppers. Not shown, the herbs are also doing great.

After the last shot Eevee's brother got jealous and wanted to come get some photos. I didn't have to do much to settings bumped up the shutter speed and lowered the aperture to catch the action shots. Just a few of the birds recorded using the Merlin app while sitting on my deck this morning drinking my morning #coffee. Not pictured but also recorded were the tufted titmouse, American goldfinch, and chickadee. I feel like I'm in a Disney movie surrounded by little woodland creatures.
