I shot this #photo of the Na Pali Coast in #Kauai so many years ago it makes me tear up. I miss #Hawaii!!! [I know, white American problems.]
Anyway, enjoy the view. This particular beach is not easy to get to, but it is totally worth it! Those waves, however, not so fun. The undertow was serious.
Another photo I shot after this one was used by Kauai Tourism. A massive cloud bank appeared suddenly behind the cliffs, making the photo very dramatic.

My picture for today is of the Twelve Apostles - a dramatic group of 50m high limestone stacks, which stand off the Victoria coast, near Port Campbell. They are an impressive sight, and there's nothing but wild ocean between here and Antarctica.
Oddly, there never were 12 of them. There were 8 until 2005, but then one collapsed into the sea.
I went to see them on my birthday a few years ago. Never to be forgotten...
