I have a tendency to make lewd comments on here. I draw/post porn, and make the occasional horny remark.
But irl I'm not really a sexual person. I wouldn't say I'm asexual, I feel attraction to both genders and definitely identify as #bi.

Until #Pride in Aug I primarily ID'ed as #pansexual. That changed somewhere between reading Julia Shaw's "Bi - The Hidden Culture and Science of #Bisexuality" and explaining to some bigots in a weird interview that #bisexual means both homo and hetero, i.e. is non-binary, and no, there's not too many genders.
Since gender & its expression is so deeply personal, I no longer feel like differentiating between attraction to personality vs gender makes sense for me

I tend to game but don't talk about it much here, mostly a whatever enjoyer so long as it's not an unfun slog.
„A lot of people I'm sad to say have grown up with a very limited understanding of bisexuality because with the exception of a lucky few, most of us didn't have access to bisexual history or activism and got the bare minimum and narrow description of bisexuality which is the common "attracted to men and woman."
While bisexuals being attracted to men and woman is a technically correct definition since bisexuality does include them, it's not the whole truth and leaves out about 99% of the entire story. What people think that pansexuality is, is in truth what bisexuality has always been.
When it comes to there being a "difference" between bi and pan, honestly there really is no difference between Bi or Pan that many bisexuals cis, trans, and nonbinary alike have pointed out, doesn't end up relying on biphobia, transphobia, bi-erasure of bisexual history or just a lot of misinformation.
The whole reason pansexuality even became popular is because a 2002 Live Journal post by a teenager who also had no knowledge of bisexuality or it's history, said bisexuality was transphobic and only included cis men & woman which ended up spreading biphobia, and transphobia from there because the overwhelming majority of people just didn't have anyone to say "hey that's wrong, this is what bisexuality is" and set the record straight.
In reality bisexuality has always included and welcomed trans, nonbinary, and gender non conforming people even before we had modern terminology to describe them.
The definition "Regardless of gender" itself was invented by bisexual activists to define bisexuality and the modern bisexual movement that started in the 70's. So regardless of gender is bisexualities real definition.

I do want to comment on one bit of the “Wayne Brady coming out” story:

Hi! I'm Vi (which rhymes with my and not me). I'm in my mid twenties; I'm #queer, #nonbinary, and #bi; and I have a million random hobbies (because I have #ADHD), from writing to coding to graphic design to making music.
I've recently gotten super into the #SCP #SCPFoundation, and that's where a lot of my creative energy is at currently, as well as making weird sounds with #synths (usually softsynths). I'm a nerd for #Apple stuff, but I was a #Linux user for a long time, and I still use it on a bunch of random projects and keep up with the community. Most of my coding these days is web stuff with #svelte, but I also love to hack together #perl scripts. I do none of this professionally, by day, I drive a #SchoolBus, and I love it!

Apparently today is the 30th anniversary of Mary Robinson signing into #Irish Law the bill which decriminalised homosexuality in Ireland.
Which means every Irish person over 30 has lived in a country where being #gay or #bi was illegal.
We really owe a debt to all the people who fought hard for LGBT rights in 70's, 80's and 90's (presumably before but not aware of any orgs or individuals who may have been able to fight against Catholic hegemony & oppression)
