European decor bar in the historic restaurant & inn of Chalet Suzanne in Lake Wales, Florida. The historic landmark had a small air strip, orange grove and soup cannery that once made Moon Soup. Their Moon Soup was selected by NASA & the crew of Apollo 15 for their trip to the moon. Chalet Suzanne closed in 2014 after 83 years in business.

I had wanted to get a good photo of these large Banyon Tree that creates a beautiful arched canopy over the street located in Coral Gables. I had to wait a few minutes in parking lot for rain to stop. The beauty is that the rain wet road adds to the beauty of this shot which is one of my best sellers.

As I saw this horse and carriage driver approach I saw an opportunity to capture not just a street photography shot but also a conceptual one reflecting on life's directions. The classic white Dogwood blossom is just stunning in black and white. I love the blossoms on the Flowering Dogwood tree that is labelled as endangered in Ontario Canada. I had always assumed that the white leaves were actually the white petals but I was wrong as the center is the actual flower and the white petals are actually leaves.
