They really just never change, do they? Apparently this political ad is from the 70's Briggs movement in #California to get "Prop 6" -- "parents" and their "rights" to move their children from teachers they believed to be "immoral" -- passed.
There are no alternatives for them, are there? It's the same playbook: (1) find the liberals' limits of humanity (or, charitably, their perception) and (2) go precisely one step further than that. Rinse. Repeat.
Any idea what the ultimate source of this particular ad is? I've gone down a bit of a rabbit hole (see vid https://diode.zone/w/cvh359Qz3LftB5cqsyQjpa with results of my #TreeStyleTabs #firefox environment and researching right now) looking for a museum search to see if any of them (1) have this in their collection and (2) have verified its provenance. I didn't find anything immediately in #Kagi (though did have a breakthrough there), instead ultimately ending up multiple times at the digital front pages of what look like professional, expensive archival outfits that make bank on exactly the type of adventure I'm on right this second...
And #google only had scant references to one of the exact-match strings in two books without the relevant pages available publicly.
FUCK IT I'm goin' full press. Whipping out the "illegal" searches.
