The transport sector is one of the major contributors to global climate change making up a quarter of the European Union's greenhouse gas emissions. It is also the only major sector where emissions are on the rise.
Sales of bigger, heavier cars have never been higher, with sport utility vehicles (SUVs) accounting for nearly half of all new cars sold.

Sunak's Net Zero surrender is bad, but the previous plan wasn't enough. When it comes to cars, it isn't enough to just replace every petrol & diesel with an EV.
That would still give us air pollution (from tyres), congestion and road deaths.
Instead we need more e-bikes, public transport, car clubs and car hire.
Lots of people will still need to own a car - that's fine. But many won't, and they'll save money as a result.

Shooting with McLaren in Nagasaki a year or so ago. Great city. One of my faves in Japan. These were part of a series of shots we made over the course of a couple of days, in Nagasaki, Saga and Fukuoka.
Always such fun picking the locations for these photos.

@Setsune for some bizzare reason, a lot of videos young adults from the #Netherlands (in their 20s and 30s) get auto tagged as kids videos - even when they are driving #cars you normally need to be at least 18 to drive in NL.
Sometimes even happens with #UK creators! (OK driving age is 17 here so some could be minors, but its rare).
A lot simply give up on their channels as they get 0 comments and less promotion, and they don't seem to know how to turn off these settings..
