Took Rufus outside to say hi to the puppies! He thought they made too much noise, and had to hiss a bit. He did get a good sniff of his little cow-friend Åsta, but I think he'd rather they came inside the house for future meetings. Mom Tikaani gave Rufus some good SLURPS in the face before he got to go inside, she didn't mind him visiting at all.

She sat exactly on the #BobbinLace motif I was trying to copy from a museum photo. It's almost uncanny how good she is at this.

On a working table full of lace making paraphernalia, a cat sits on the tracing paper on top of a photo. She sits her ass towards her person. She manages to do this in the exact center of the photo, and cocks her head in an arrogant and deliberate manner to stop all work.

To the right is the ruler, pencil, and grid paper her person was just using but cannot anymore.

And so it begins. I suffer from chronic pain, and winter is always the worst. I usually fall apart during or just after Christmas (depending on temperature and other stress factors), so despite very low stress the freezing cold got me. Thankfully I often have a cat to keep me company in bed, and my Kindle won't run out of reading material any time soon!
