A momentous #caturday !! We tried Kitty Boy (aka Atlas) on the leash outside for the first time since becoming an #IndoorCat in 2021. If we want two cats, we often adopt two littermates at a young age. This can be a fine strategy, since we have the advantage of them being used to each other from the beginning.
However, without some attention to kitten personality clues and Cat Type indicators, it can backfire. Since a litter of kittens can have different fathers, the littermates can grow up to be very different personalities. It's rare for them to utterly dislike each other, but it's no real guarantee they will be actual friends.
