Atticus was a red Devon Rex kitten belonging to a friend - I popped over to get some photos of him, tried some action shots and was lucky enough to catch this shot of him having just missed batting a toy he was swiping at with his paw!

For #Caturday here's an old photo of a friend's cat called Boris when he was a 6 week old kitten. His eyes were just starting to gain their colour (from the initial kitten blue).
His coat is a mix of tabby and white.

I've been historically rubbish at deleting the shots I'm never going to use - recently I've been making an effort to start doing that and along the way occasionally process some older stuff from RAW I never got around to the first time around.
Here's a shot of Loki when he randomly adopted a loaf pose in the hall. I was playing with a manual lens - a Mitakon 28mm f/2.8 - mounted on my D7000.

This dual cat photo/selfie came out exactly as planned. I was cat-sitting Poppy when I noticed she was intrigued by the shutter clicks of my camera. So I put the camera on the balcony ledge she liked to balance on, used a remote trigger app on my phone. Put my head between Poppy and the camera and the remote trigger in my hand and started clicking away.

Kumquat is also a very routine kitty. He does things on schedule pretty much every single day.
Such as, when one of us is waking up in the morning he's there waiting for his morning treat.
Then when the wife wakes up, he's there with her until it's time for her to take him out on the leash. Remember, he was originally a stray cat, so he still loves the outdoors.

This is Bess. She's 13 years old and very set in her ways. And yes, she's eating her treat while sitting on the back of the couch.
She's a very large kitty, or at least was most of her earlier life. She's about 16 - 17 pounds now. She was once nearly 24 pounds just a couple of years or so ago. She's lost weight due to old age.
She's the most loving, sweetest kitty I've ever owned!
