This painting is made up of figures of women reposing in a dome that appears to be the opening to the heavens or to a time tunnel. The figures come from classical renaissance paintings, but they are presented in a modern and almost abstract manner. Their faces seem tranquil, at peace, almost bored and yet inviting you to join them. They are sirens, calling you up to the celestial skies. The painting has a sense of mystery to it, the women are seemingly sitting on the edge of a cliff with their feet dangling over what seems like an abyss. There is something about their faces that tells you they have seen all there is to see in life and yet they remain beautiful and inviting. The women are semi clad, dressed in classical robes, but the painting itself is quite modern. It could be a reinterpretation of some Renaissance art or maybe even an homage to it.

Often #clouds obscure interesting #celestial phenomena that I would like to observe living in the #UK. However, today’s (current) #LunarEclipse is obscured by the #Earth.

With the internal refactors I'm making in #Celestial, my unit-testing has gone out the window. I'm usually too excited to just "get it done" than write tests and then adhere to them. Which is 2x easier when you're simply writing code the first time around.

Migrate projects. Disable issues and projects. Add a note in the readme about the migration, and at least one project is off #GitHub now. 😁 🚀

I've been feeling super overwhelmed in those rare moments I do want to work on Celestial.

This "little" motivation would die off if I take up a part-time contract in addition to my day-job. Yay. Life.

I'm incredibly sad to be taking a forced break from #Celestial and #FOSS in general.

Unfortunately, I can't go on like this forever without a contract/full time position to support me.

Moving forward, I will be working with #React/#Redux a majority of the time.

The idea will always be to build useful, small things to learn more about the tools, but the ethos and values around FOSS cannot take prime importance for some time, for me. Quick example - avoiding #AWS or #CSSinJS.

Hmm. Can you spot the differences? 😉

The highlight is an amazing logo by our very own @andya! I absolutely love it!

After a gap of 8(!) days, I worked on two little features/fixes for #Celestial today.

I have taken a conscious break from #Celestial because, honestly, I'm fatigued by #TypeScript and to some extent #JavaScript too.

Been thinking about #Celestial's roadmap... and a re-evaluation is in order.

When I ask myself what makes a v1, a lot of things from the the current v1 roadmap shouldn't figure, and a couple of things from the v2 roadmap should be tackled now.

Using it full-time including for writing articles (Forestry CMS is a much better experience), I seem to realize I was slightly off balance!

There is also a need to define the sequence of to-dos a bit more clearly so I don't feel this lost.

The next thing I'll probably work on in #Celestial is support for uploading files (specifically, photos). Which I think will be a long task...

The next feature to hit #Celestial would be support for categories, which is a #Micropub extension.

Here's a quick preview. 😉

Shout out to @meduz for #accessibility improvements, not all of which I have implemented yet. 🤫

Shows a user adding the following categories in sequence: hello, world, food, italian, wine.

Then the user proceeds to remove "hello" and "world" categories from the list by clicking the remove buttons next to these categories.

Well, someone used the (now) rather old deploy on #Heroku of #Celestial to spam my mailbox. I got over 800 emails - and had to pony up $5 or risk being without incoming emails for a week.

Why did the old memes die out? Super simple article support in #Celestial, not yet live on the main branch on GitHub. 👀

Updated the #IndieWeb wiki entry for #Micropub. This really should have already been present. There doesn't appear to be any official treatment of part context replies, likes etc.

So it looks like I don't have a lot to do when it comes to #Celestial.

Additional notes for developers
* The reply context is expected to be provided by the Micropub server. [5][6] and will include the entire post.
** Brainstorm part-context replies etc. A lot of people on IndieWeb quote parts of the original post to clarify or draw extra attention to which part they are responding to, liked, or reposted.
