I built these Adirondack chairs from plans in Norm Abram’s Classics from The New Yankee Workshop book about 25 years ago. They’ve been out in the #pittsburgh weather all those years and needed a tuneup. A little sanding and screw tightening and they’re good as new plus a little patina. The redwood from Brookside lumber has held up pretty well all these years.

It turns out that the fabric seat cover, and/or the gas suspension creates such a strong electrostatic discharge (ESD) that my screen shuts off for a short time.
The solution? No idea yet, but it seems that insulating the chair with copper foil and connecting it to a socket (ground) might help, as you can see here:

The second option I have for the 52 Frames prompt this week. The prompt is Chair. I feel this one isn't as "arty" as the black and white one but has a certain charm.
This one has more of an emotional attachment for me. The lady who has the plot is really only interested in growing flowers rather than vegetables. Her plot is tucked away and hidden by fairly large shrubs and is a perfect little, colourful jewel amongst the green of the veg plots.
