I love everything by #CamilleThomas and even have some "bootlegs," but I must say that Voice of Hope is truly angelic.
For me, it takes the right mood to listen to it. I have to be Open and prepared for the album's Magic.
One might even say that Camille Thomas's Voice of Hope is #LouReed's Magic and Loss. Not to compare to two albums, but in similar accomplishments.
The premiere of Carmina Burana went so well that Orff, then 41, wrote to his publishers: “Everything I have written to date, and which you have, unfortunately, published, can be destroyed. With Carmina Burana my collected works begin.”

Alan Hovhaness wrote pieces about many mountains, mountain ranges, and volcanoes (including individual ones for Mount St. Helens, Glacier Peak, the Appalachians, and more). WQED’s airing his 2nd symphony, Mysterious Mountain, which I was fortunate enough to perform with a past orchestra.
He also wrote pieces honoring Indian and Korean instruments and even religions.
His work is so lush, multifaceted, and atmospheric.
