Looking at office chairs today and the guy working there asked what I needed it for primarily
I was honest : I'ma be doing a ton of #coding
He then proceeded to tell me he was a #coder as well..that's cool...
He told me about some wholesale website that he got his chair on... Awesome..
Then he weird flexed : he stated his keyboard has no numbers or letters on it because he doesn't need them... Not sure what he wanted me to say?
Needless to say I'm not ordering that chair he recommended..😂

What's the structure/method I should use if I want to craft a sentence using wildcards, but choice of each subsequent wildcard is dependent on the last - i.e. not just naive independent separate lists. Is it quadtree?? some kind of map?? -
eg choose from A,B,C to start, then choose from D,E,F *BUT* if A was chosen, can only choose E,F or if B was chosen, can choose any from D,F etc...

Sometimes the coder in me wins and just has a day out and does something .... dump.
Like writing an app that arranges images you drag into it using one of 8 (simple) layouts.
Why? Because I can. And because I have to do 5 of these and doing them in the image app (Affinity Photo) takes maybe .... 6 minutes for all images.
It took two days to write this and it will be oh-so-handy ...

#Recursion used to be everyone's favourite analysis/design and synthesis/implementation technique. Now, every #coder desperately grabs that abominable \( \texttt{for} \) statement like a drowning person.
People view looping as a faster, easier way to recur. But that misses a huge point: recursion preserves the declarative structure of the problems, whereas a looping imperatively repeats instructions. Hence, recursion is easier to understand, more convenient to implement, and easier to verify correctness.

Straight coders can do everything I can, but are too busy talking about what they can theoretically create and how to improve existing software to actually... ya know.. create or improve anything..

Any other coders get that moment when they're being explained how something works and you're too polite to say you don't understand so you let them carry on but your brain is now mush and you don't understand any of it, even though you should and everyone else seems to understand it so am I slow or stupid or both?

I haven't opened a text editor in a couple of weeks and it feels good, perhaps taking a break can allow me to appreciate coding again. Maybe taking a break from the thing you've been doing professionally can make you long for it again. There's also guilt associated with not coding, will I get rusty?
