I was testing my new set of Arrtx pencils and Norberg&Linden paper with incredibly cute Mimosa (character belongs to @kyber_punk ).
I am very much in love with the result! I love the way these pencils layer and the texture this paper gives. Together with that the paper is rather thin, so it is important to be as gentle as possible.

I had about two quiet hours to myself on Sunday evening, so I worked on my #sketch of a cardinal that's a frequent visitor to my yard. I've been doing more watercolor lately, so even though this is done in #ColoredPencil I wanted to create a similar effect. I'm pretty happy with it, especially given that I frequently spend a _lot_ longer on a sketch.

My extremely mundane parents didn't appreciate my unicorns and pegasi and didn't approve of my dragons and griffins, so when I made art for them it was birds. The ducks and goose were a set, and I suspect the paper was originally white but we didn't know about acid-free in medieval times when I was a teenager. It was probably my first titled work: Duck Duck Goose.
The papercut marsh hawk (Northern Harrier) was probably made when I was in my 20s.
