STAR WARS Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2 is the sequel to STAR WARS: Dark Forces 1, and an old (released in 1997, by the LucasArts studio) FPS taking place in the Star Wars universe, starting one year after the events of Return of the Jedi (and 4 years after Dark Forces). The player embodies once again Kyle Katarn, a mercenary of the Rebel Alliance. Kyle's father was one of the holders and protectors of the Sacred Valley of the Jedi, which holds the spirits of the Jedi. He was executed by the Dark Jedi Jerec, who is searching for the location of the Valley. Much later, Kyle, working for the Rebel Alliance, crosses paths with the 8t88 broker droid in Jerec's pay, which leads him to his father's killer... Oxygen Not Included is a space colony and survival simulation game on an asteroid. The player leads (giving directives without direct control, with more or less success depending on resources and skills) his colony of newly landed colonists (called "duplicants"), starting with 3 colonists that he will try to make survive and then prosper. He will have to deal with hunger, waste, oxygen levels and other dangers (diseases, extreme temperatures). The game also simulates the diffusion of gases, the equalization of atmospheres between rooms and the flow of liquids.

I think #centralization will mainly come from #commercial instances, & I can imagine Google and Microsoft wanting to ride a fedi wave back to social media relevancy.

With commercial sites, even when they're small, the inclination to sell out their users in acquisitions is strong.

We should expect their marketing & PR will eventually siphon off millions of fedi users, then undergo corporate mergers. Meanwhile they'll sponsor legislation that hobbles independent operators.
