OK - I've just tried the new voice chat feature on #chatgpt 4.0 and I feel like I've experienced the #future we were promised in #startrek and other #scifi #fiction. It's #uncanny. 3/4 The chatter was topical but I think I let my familiarity guard down a bit too much. Before the crowd got really big — I just turn into a #wallflower at that point — I engaged in some chatter with other parents who also arrived early. It was nice having a topic to share. But I might have dwelled too long. Felt #avoided after that. Dialed it back some.
Knowing when the #conversation should continue and when to stop really isn’t easy for me. I don’t see the cues.
tip: when you’re having a conversation and you say “again …” and proceed to repeat your statement, stop. You failed to communicate your point. Repeating won’t change the outcome.
instead, consider what you want to convey, and find a different way to phrase it.

I got interested in swallowing because I've been working on #clicks in Englsih for a long time. When I watched video data, I could see that some clicks are the release of a swallow; so I started collecting cases of swallowing in #conversation.
When you swallow you can't talk. How do you coordinate swallowing and talking? How do coparticipants treat swallowing?
This paper was a lot of fun to write!

@rolle Success of that old social media is partly based on that it uses our weakness laziness. You get your feed, to feed your eyeballs without doing anything. I'd say in birdverse people have mainly also given up the use of hashtags. #conversation #interests #TwitterMigration
Here's my #introduction.
I'm a runner, running coach and editor/writer. I've combined those passions into my RunSpirited.com website where I write about inspirational runners, coaching tips, product reviews and my own running journey.
As a #runner, I've completed race from 5Ks to 100-milers (three), been competitive in my age group and even won a trail marathon overall while in my 50s.
I'm also a #plantbased athlete and have found that lifestyle allows me to recover much more quickly. And it is definitely better for the environment.
