@darth I just started playing #Coromon as it was on sale last week.

I think it is a bit more difficult than a real Pokemon game but it feels good, and I am enjoying it.

I took a risk and bought #coromon and expected to immediately hate it... but it's actually fun. Like #Pokemon, but with actual difficulty. I am about 4 hours in and only only on the second route.

There are a ton of side things to do that don't require you beat the game first.

Plus the Potency system means I don't have to get into spreadsheets to figure out if a coromon is worth catching.

I've been loving #Coromon it's a pastiche of Pokémon but built with love for the series. It's been a lot of fun to play, challenged me too in places so far. I love being able to see the evolution progress meter, it helps me decide to power level or not.

Also, the fast travel system is so freaking useful for getting around the map. It basically unlocks after completing a side quest in the second town.

I've been liking the story thus far and hope to delve deeper soon.

I played #Coromon for a few hours and I have to say it's a cute game with a decent battle system. I need to get further before forming an actual opinion about the game.

As I'm currently grinding my Coromon to level 10, because they need to be beefed up.

Art stream plans are to work on some thumbnails for YouTube streams.

I'm going to be straight up with you about this; the SMTV stream is going to be a bit of a test stream. Interest in the game isn't doing great and I am feeling that along with the community. This is our last stream to see if it's going to be something we continue or if we decide it's not for us anymore.
Currently, we're in about the last third of the game, I believe. We're getting close to route selection. However, there's still a good chunk of the game and I don't think it would be worth riding out if people aren't feeling it.

@ClumsyGolem Oh very cool! I’ve played a bit of #Coromon from back when it was in a demo. It was pretty neat. I haven’t gone back to it since it launched. I did try #CassetteBeasts out for a few hours and was in a similar vein as well, but different and had some good music—might be worth checking out if you are enjoying Coromon.

#SeaOfStars also looks like it will be pretty good! Good choices!

@scarletrain I think it's that most of the discussion has mostly already been done. Seems consistent with most of the older titles, even the cult following stuff like Dark Souls, etc, you'd expect more movement on.

Be interesting to do a nuzlocke on it, tbf, but I think I need a bit of a break from it before going back, & there's stuff like #Coromon and #CassetteBeasts I kinda wanna try for a different taste of that style.

Sw/Sh were pretty good, especially with the DLC, just not the best

I mostly play roguelikes, metroidvanias (Hollow Knight my beloved) and monster tamers (i.e. "Pokémon-likes", such as Nexomon, Coromon, Monster Sanctuary,...). These days, I play a lot of Breath of the Wild, Crypt of the Necrodancer, Dead Cells, and 30XX.
