I am pleased with this first one. I don't know why I chose this background image in particular. I printed out several and this one just wanted to go first, lol.

During the last week the world outside has gone from winter to summer here in Pirkanmaa, Finland.

Finally got to go outside today for some forest therapy. The forest is quite dry and still very barren, but green things are popping up here and there.🌱

Picked a few pennywort (Hepatica nobilis), some wood sorrel, tiny birch leaves and maple flowers for my craft projects. The tiny flower of a maple is just a lovely thing.

And the resilience and strenght of the tiny wood sorrel was the thing that amazed me today. No matter how many times you press the little leaves down to dry them, if you turn your back for long, they spring right back up.☘

sometimes when i send a gift, i like to include a little note. not enough for a card, but just a sentence or two.

i sent my nephew a gift recently & made this cute little note card to include! i painted a kitty on the front, & put my note on the back.

i used wacky scissors to snip 2 corners, & a heart-shaped hole punch in the upper-left corner. i added a loop with string, & now it can be hung up somewhere ^-^

This weekend I finished up my next test design - Lady Wisdom! Strategy is her forte, and numerous arts & crafts. She was present at creation, says Psalms, and is traditionally depicted with an owl & the spear of truth.

This cast went pretty well. I do want to find some small real metal tubes for the spear.
