I am putting the final touches on the #Glyphscape #demo, and while I'm waiting on tester feedback, I've been working on an old shelved project. I want to get more comfortable working in #Unity Proper, since I've been in my own C# world for so much of Glyphscape's development.
It's refreshing to not have to build everything by hand, and the game controls and themes will also allow me to port Glyphscape into the new game seamlessly.
In this new Mystery Game, interactible computers in the environment are a core gameplay mechanic, and since Glyphscape already contains several mini games, it only makes sense to go another level deeper to allow games within games within games.
After a few months of work I finally had a new version of #CRT7 that to show at #ECGx - a local games expo for graduating students and local indie devs! I think it went pretty well - people seemed to enjoy the game, even though it's not the best way to show a slow, thoughtful, experience-based game.

Was ich hier auf Mastodon noch vermisse ist eine so gute realtime Demo-Berichterstattung, wie es sie vorher unter den entsprechenden Hashtags auf Twitter gegeben hat. Das habe ich hier leider bisher noch garnicht gefunden. Was wo passiert, wo die Cops eskalieren.
Bei G20 in HH war ich beruflich nicht in der Stadt und nirgends konnte man sich ein so gutes Bild machen, wie bei Twitter.

I haven't yet finished playing #VirtuaVerse, but an #Amiga 500 #demo is integral to the plot, and I don't think any more needs to be said. Play it in the classic mode, not the new "story mode". You'll probably need a walkthrough to get through some parts, but the puzzles are a lot of fun.
