It can be found in: Dev tools > Hamburger menu > More tools > Rendering > Paint flashing.

But that last "sRGB vs DCI-P3 Display vs Rec2020" image changes everywhere, even in Windows or Linux browsers!
#DevTools shows it using three different image files, which when downloaded look different in any iOS viewer but identical in most Windows apps ( #GIMP knows they're different.)
So am I right that Safari code's unique skill is using P3 in the page content? While any browser on any OS can display a separate file that is already saved as DCI-P3?

Podcast episode - Don’t buy it, build it. The hidden benefits of making your own tools. https://compileswift.transistor.fm/s5/10 #podcast #swift #devtools #developers
「 A 99% Developer team with legacy code and a lean team is probably never going to convert their entire code base over to microservices or GraphQL. For most organizations, tech stacks and tool chains are heterogeneous, a combination of the layers of languages, frameworks, and tools that have been picked up over the years 」
「 Developer tool empires are built through slick gifs and video clips. Teams commit to tools — sometimes for years — after a few minutes of demo. Investors invest based on demos. Builders are told to focus on the demo — and, after that, the first 60 seconds of use — as the make-or-break parts of the product. But while being able to execute well on a demo might suggest that the team can execute on developer experience in day-to-day use, the two aren’t necessarily correlated 」
「 For the 99% Developer, most of their code will never need to scale to an organization of thousands, or to billions of users. Many of these developers work on code bases older than the length of their entire careers. Most of these organizations don’t have dedicated developer tools or developer-productivity teams internally.
Pristine code is not the goal — rather, the goal is code that is as reliable and secure as it makes sense to be, given other constraints 」
「 If someone is working in an idealized process, with a world-class ops team and whole teams of people who exist to support improved software quality, the audience should be made aware of this! And we should welcome more talks, blog posts, and books that give guidance for “real software environments”: what coding, testing, and shipping looks like with short-staffed teams, teams without dedicated devops experts, and teams where everyone who originally built the system has left 」
「 First, the tech industry needs to acknowledge that organizations operating at different scales and with different engineering budgets are going to have different needs. A company that serves in the low millions of user requests per day doesn’t need to optimize its systems to the degree of a Netflix or a Google 」
Because a disproportionate amount of writing and tooling comes from companies like Facebook, Netflix, LinkedIn, Google, and Amazon, many people assume there’s a trickle-down effect: Great engineers at companies with money to burn come up with good solutions to problems everyone else will have someday. It’s simply a matter of time until your typical small-to-medium business or Fortune 500 company experiences the same issues as Amazon or Facebook 」
Questionable podcast idea!

Maybe this is helpful to some of you. :)
#DeutscheBahn being all like "Sorry, you can't buy the #DeutschlandTicket, our servers are overloaded!"
But no problem! Just use the magic of #DevTools to remove one "disabled" attribute and one "disabled" class. Tada! Form is working.
And yes, the order process is working and you get your ticket.
Their servers are not overloaded - they just don't want you to get the "cheap" ticket...

We have chosen to continue to build on PDK as the future direction of @puppet developer tooling and to archive Puppet Content Templates (PCT) and Puppet Runtime Manager (PRM).
These projects provided valuable lessons which will be fed into PDK 3.x
The full details of this approach can be found discussed in the blog https://www.puppet.com/blog/faq-puppet-developer-kit-pdk
If any part of the community wants to adopt these projects for their own use please let us know.

Anyone have suggestions for tools that one can use to orchestrate the running of different services locally in a development environment? Context: We have a number of different crates that run as discrete services alongside their respective dependencies, some of which have implicit requirements in the order that they need to be started which can be put out of whack due to recompilation. As a result development of features that rely on a string of these services successfully talking to each other e.g. logs is way more difficult than it needs to be. #devtools #programming #softwaredevelopment
