Something I appreciated about #Digimon as a kid, was seeing these characters grow and develop and become adults.
A lot of cartoons at the time, like Codename: Kids Next Door and Fairly Odd Parents, framed growing up like it was the scariest thing ever and that it should be avoided at all costs.
So, it was really nice seeing a show that embraced the idea and made it out to be a positive thing in the end.

Getting reallllly comfortable with Hunters. I was struggling for a while trying to wrap my head around a lot of its aspects, resources, and counter-measures beyond just rushing to Superior Mode, but now I'm managing to not think too hard whenever I play (and remembering to suspend my tamers :blobcatfearful: ). Ngl the journey wasn't too fun, though it's grown on me greatly. Enjoying it immensely.

Saw the new #Digimon 02 movie. As long as there were battles and Digivolving I was gonna be cool with it no matter what lol.
I hadn't seen a "'Mon" movie in theaters since Pokemon: The First Movie way back in '99 so it was nice to come full circle.
#DigimonAdventure 02 The Beginning is soo good. We not only get to see were the 02 kids are in 2012, but we also get a glimpse at all the worldwide digidestined partners. There are no new digivolutions, but we get great recreations of the original sequences.
And this story really got me. So well done. Odd implications for Adv lore. But interesting too. It got -dark-. But I loved this.

Este juego tiene una inspiración muy fuerte a esos tiempos de la Game Boy, Game Boy Advance y Nintendo DS de #Pokemon, Dragon Quest, #Digimon y similares con una sensación un tanto parecida a #Undertale.
La sensación de juego es similar a su inspiración pero haciendo cambios en los monstruos, interacciones, tablas de tipos e incluso cambiando los sistemas. Creo que está bastante bien y la fórmula es bastante mejor. Si nos metemos en temas de dificultad, este es uno de esos juegos que te deja cambiarla a tu gusto, así que no hay problema.
El Pixel-Art es muy parecido a los juegos de Game Boy Advance o Nintendo DS y la música es excelente, escuchad esta muestra:

Woo. That was a good #randomizer run so far. Started out with Monmon, Renamon, and Kumamon.
No healing items in early game, expensive equipment. But I had some good equipment drops that were useful for my team.
Survived up to the Keith fight. He had a WarGrowlmon, which one-shotted my entire team.
Definitely gonna continue this seed! Probably on a night where I have more time!

We get to see where the 02 kids are in their 20s. And this looks pitch perfect. The #digimon are even helping with their jobs. I love that, and how, the digimon just get to be out, and not a secret we have to pretend they are plushys.
Kari as a preschool helper just works. I like Davis as an aspiring ramen chef. And his shades. The atmosphere for each vignette is so spot on. I love it.

I decided to start trying to design a 4-player casual format for the Digimon TCG ala MtG's Commander. I know a lot of people have messed with the idea before, and none have really caught on, especially because the language for the Digimon TCG doesn't really support multiple opponents, but I figured I'd give it a shot!
So far, it focuses on the new ACE Digimon, and does a little bit more to encourage spending a lot of memory at the end of your turn, because unlike the standard format, you'll get that memory too!
Worst comes to worst, if I can't make it feel good to play in a 4 for all, I can still probably take some of my ideas to make a 1v1 casual format.

#Digimon Cybersleuth: Hackers Memories

Me pasé la primera historia hace tiempo, el juego me encantó muchísimo solo que lo quemé al final y no quise seguir en Hackers Memories....
Un año o dos después aquí estoy, me he pasado ya Hackers Memories completando el círculo de ambos juegos. Voy a hacer un repaso en cada cosa del paquete videojueguil:

Gameplay
Se divide en varias partes, empecemos por la aburrida ya que el juego es muy pasillero, con una cámara y muros invisibles un tanto molestos. No obstante coge inspiración de la saga Persona según cómo están hechos los Quest sin meterse en líos de hacer todas las conversaciones perfectas(puedes spamear "A"/"X" sin problemas).
Después tenemos el sistema de combate que literalmente es combinar Final Fantasy X :gaming_magoscuro: un poco con Pokémon :gif_pikachu_wtf: , si habéis jugado a Digimon World 3, creo que os adaptareis también bien.
Finalmente tenemos el DigiLab y la movida de farmear items o digimon además de evolucionarlos. Al principio, hasta más o menos la mitad de los juegos, podéis un poco pasar del tema pero recuerda que hay una subida muy grande de dificultad en la segunda parte de ambos juegos. Buscad un poco en Google, la estrategia es obtener 3 Platinium Numemon para ir omegachetado apagando un poco el cerebro. La misiones secundarias también pueden facilitarte un poco el juego.

Apartado Artístico
Podemos apreciar que aunque el juego no tenga los mejores gráficos, nos encontramos con un juego que fue exclusivo de PS Vita pero lo petó tanto que lo portaron a PS4, Switch y PC.
Volviendo al tema, el diseño de personajes visualmente es muy bueno, además de la estética de ordenadores, webs, "el SAO" y demás mola muchísimo, en algunas partes incluso hacen referencia a la saga Persona a lo largo del juego. También el diseño de los Digimon y la aparición de monstruos exclusivos al juego.
En el tema de la música puedo decir que es agradable de oír en loop, solo que hay dos temas que me han encantado del juego:

Historia
Ambos juegos tienen una historia a la altura de su género. No quiero hacer spoilers sino transmitir un poco lo que me hicieron sentir:
Cybersleuth me hizo revivir mi infancia de ver RTVE mientras me zampaba tremendo bollycao esos capítulos de Digimon 01 y Tamers por las tardes. Me hizo incluso llorar un poco porque joder, peazo juego.
Hackers Memories no destaca tanto por la historia ya que depende un poco del anterior juego y puedes perderte cosas si no juegas a Cybersleuth. En lo que destaca es en los personajes y el cómo los han desarrollado, está bien, aunque no tanto como el anterior aún así tiene un final que me ha encantado.

Conclusión
Recomiendo este juego si te gustan los JRPG's, grindear como un cabrón y si te gusta Digimon. Son 70 horas entre los dos juegos. Se está convirtiendo en un juego de culto y normal.
