My version is an amalgam of the Golden Age Johnny Thunder, created by John Wentworth and Stan Aschmeier, and the Roy Thomas created Jonni Thunder who first appeared in 1985.

I made a drawing of what is probably my favourite scene in Wong Kar-Wai's movie from 2000, "In the mood for love" (花樣年華). All the time while working on it, Shigeru Umebayashi's beautiful music "Yumeji's Theme" was playing in my head.
I used Schoellershammer watercolour paper, 30x40 cm, 250g/m², with the Chinese ink I wrote about a while ago, and two Chinese brushes. The ink is excellent but the paper and the brushes are not great. As a result, there is a lack of control that I find interesting.

My #drawing companion Buddy and I went looking for local #apples. We crossed the #RioGrande to #Corrales and drove north until we saw an #orchard sign. Lovely #adobe buildings, a sheet on the shop door said take care as you step down.
