Ugh, I'm so tired of finding out each year that my employer is offering less and less.
I'd love to find a place that does the same work, pays the same wage or more but has better benefits, is unionized and still allows remote work.
We just found out in a french document they were going to match an RRSP plan through them at 3% but they took that away so you're just giving them money with no added benefit.
It's a uniquely good feeling to send a particularly complex eLearning product through accessibility testing and have it pass on the first go.

Simple Youtube video series, maybe some Pluralsight-style stuff, that kind of thing. I'm so out of date with training resources these days.
If there's a certificate or a badge at the end, so much the better.
Something that will get them up from their current basic Word letter writing skills to being able to use styles, contents, and other things of that level
Similarly in Excel, from essentially zero up to formula copying, SUM(), tables, etc.
Any suggestions, and any boosts, would be greatly appreciated.

After being on the job market for close to 3 months now, it's with a sigh of relief and a rush of excitement I can finally see the full-time occupation of doing job interviews to an end.

It's been a wild and educational ride, and I've met with so many interesting companies, but in the end, I chose to go with Ludenso for the ability it gives me to improve the fields of teaching and learning – especially in the classroom. Having a daughter who says she hates school is naturally a strong, personal motivation.

I find it so hard to follow these videos where someone is saying "Now click on this button here!". I glance at the video and they have already moved on. I use #markdown to write content to post into my #evolveauthoring #eLearning courses, but I have to convert to docx to collab within my org (to get revisions, etc). I've been using @pandoc to convert back, but it's a more manual process now that #Pandoctor for alfredapp.com is deprecated. Would love a simpler workflow.
