Another wild #rabbit has been surrendered and given to Love Paws Animal Rescue (https://www.facebook.com/lovepawsrescue/) in #Derby. They will check him out and look after it and introduce it to other wild rabbits.
Poor Bruno had a long trip down from #Edinburgh at the weekend as apparently there are no rabbit rescues in Scotland :(
The rescue is always after donations as they have large bills, especially as they also look after sugar gliders, who need a warm environment.

Golden autumnal light and tree shadows on Morningside United Church this evening at Holy Corner.
This is where famed Olympian Eric Liddell worshipped; his story was told in the Oscar winning film Chariots of Fire. A stained glass window in the church commemorates him, while the former church opposite is now a community centre named after him.

Chile 50 Years On Exhibition at the Central Library, Edinburgh
The Cammo Stone, in the grounds of the old estate of the long-ruined Cammo House. The stone is hidden in a wooded part of the estate close to the site of the house, but is quite easy to find. It stands around 1.5m in height and has quite a brooding presence among the trees. At some point in the distant past, for purposes unknown, an iron hook has been fixed into the top part of the back of the stone…

@scottishlass I don't go to the local chippy. I'm on Grassmarket in #Edinburgh, so it's a tourist/drunk targeted place. It was ALWAYS overpriced but has become simply obscene of late.
This was the last straw for me:- Four quid for an undersized portion of cold chips. That was two years ago.
Also LOATHE these fucking polystyrene containers. They ruin chips and don't absorb excess vinegar like paper wrappings do. And they don't rot down like paper wrappings do.

Had some wonderful #beer tonight, two pub exclusive standouts: a milk stout with chipotle chilli (not sure how), and a pale ale riffing off Anzac cookies with golden syrup and coconut. Blown away as always in smaller pubs in #Edinburgh.
