We checked out a trail that we had been driving past many times. The sky was overcast and the canopy was tight so light levels were low. I wanted to travel light so no tripod or macros lens for the DSLR. Luckily the iPhone takes great shots.

So very glad I got walking exercise today. It's been so long since I've been to a mall. There's something really special about walking around one in the middle of the day/week, at least for me. No crowds, no rush.
There's such a slow pace to life while tending to the kids. Caregivers have a totally different schedule than normal society. With school resumed, it gives me time to scope out fun activities and relax. It's important to self-heal. ❤️
