Atm i cannot identify it via searX, nor in either my `about:support` nor `about:debugging#/runtime/this-firefox` internal pages. It seems kinda sorta important to understand it, coz atm it's using 570 MB!
It's also present in my #FirefoxBeta & ordinary #Firefox browsers, but in each tis MUCH smaller [otoh, my daily default IS #FirefoxNightly].

I have discovered a ton of accounts from different blogs and websites, and it gives me a lot of nostalgia for when I would get home from school or going out and would see that green light on my 3DS.
I never even bothered to look at Just Read's options. But you can include domains as "auto-open" in the extension, so obviously nytimes.com, cnn.com, nbcnews.com, and npr.org go on the list. Well, now that I know that, my life is going to get much easier. Funny how we need technology to defeat technology that defeats technology.

Wow, a nice thing: Streetpass extension https://streetpass.social/ saves links to Mastodon accounts as you browse websites. Once it finds a rel link matching a verified Mastodon account, it adds it to a list. You can then browse the list and follow people you are interested in.

I called it MousHero and moved really fast in terms of UI, icon and metadata, but I don't think it looks bad at all, and I believe this small #Safari #Extension can be a really useful #automation tool, to work in tandem with the greats (#Shortcuts, #KeyboardMaestro, #Drafts, and anything else that supports a URL).

I need an extension for Firefox which automatically downloads the .ics for any event where I click on the "Going" button.
I don't remember the events I want to go to without my calendar reminding me. Thankfully Facebook has the option to import events into your calendar with an .ics file, but then you need to remember to download it. Which… I don't.
So an extension that "clicks" the download button for me whenever I click the "Going" button is what I need.

something that's been really frustrating during my pre #manifestv3 #firefox switch has been the google docs experience. From my *extensive* combing through the #mozilla #addon store, reddit, #github, etc there is no #extension that can splice in #googledocs clipboard APIs or offline functionality, nor is there any electron apps. Its frustrating bc it seems like this is possible but the #obfuscation present in the official docs offline extension likely makes this more difficult. (1/2)

Before I share any URLs with friends, I manually remove any UTM codes/tracking data and replace them with "=butts".
This has been a time consuming process in the past, but not anymore!!!!

I got into an interesting exploration the other day helping an extension developer to figure out their options for asking for user input if one doesn't exist in the storage and continuing execution after a form has been filled.
I created a new #Firefox #extension, this time one for the Mastodon web interface. If you like me write in multiple languages, you might sometimes miss to update the language selected for a post. This extension analyzes the text of the post and selects an appropriate language automatically:
