On a grassy hilltop, Elric straddles the body of an orcish foe. His green tunic is battle torn, exposing his albino skin. With both hands, Elric slides Stormbringer down to devour the soul of his enemy. Purple arcane energy ripples along the black rune blade. The positioning of the blade and the spill of energy is positioned between his straddled legs but there is notably no torso there—it's as if the body has been half consumed already. Elric presses his eyes shut in an expression that can only be described as ecstasy. Behind him rendered abstractly in the acidic orange background, demonic faces bleed through from chaos to this reality, funneling energy drawn by Stormbringer. While the sword feeds on his enemy, the Lords of Chaos feed off Elric.

The rich blues and greens of the water swirled in my thoughts all day. When I came across this piece of canvas, I reveled in the opportunity to explore those dream waters again.

Floating in a dark bubbly sea, a naked woman with flowing red hair spreads her arms wide, turning playfully to draw a transparently patterned cape behind her. Curious while passing by, a green sea dragon cranes its neck. Its sinuous body curves and rolls before finally looping back at the tip of its spaded tail.
