I'm an anarchosocialist in the USA. I've felt this way since my teens, I'm in my 40s now. If anything, I'm getting MORE left/progressive as I get older. I'm about helping people. Redistributing wealth. Taking it from hoarding fucks that make everyone else suffer. We all know it, but we need to DO things about it. Spreading information helps.
That's why I'm here. To try and not bitch too much about day to day drama or the fascist demagogues in power, but to also hopefully give useful, practical ideas to free yourself more.

Last day with LinkedIn. The laptop is shutdown. The corporate IT software is expunged from my personal devices. There's just one last call to take: to say farewell to some of the whole-hearted people I had the pleasure to meet.
I don't know what's next. I do know that I have direction: it *must* be aligned with my values. Human connection and dignity will be paramount in my future—for myself and whoever I work with.
What began with saving as a #HuntingtonsDisease caregiver for an impossible future later mutated into a need for security that could only be met by absurd dollar amounts. I have already spent too many years trying to fill that hole. It's not worth it. It is better to have the intrinsic security of living a life of trying to help and minimizing harm than the unlikely extrinsic security of winning the rat race.
