I decided to add another #BASIC #BreakOut clone to my close-reading analysis. This time for the #TI99. The #game named "Texas Breakout" from Des Farrell was published in "Personal Computer World" 10/1983.
The listing is a typewriter script; the editors say that they could not test it since they had noch TI99. So, the code contains some typical typwriter typos, questinable characters and a hard-to-distinguish "O" and "0".

The Last Clockwinder #game is IMO a mediocre story with a really fun, intuitive and powerful #vr #mechanic
I'm not much of a #gamer and I finished it in 4-5h. 17yo in the house is much more of a gamer and did a bunch of optimizations and achievements in about 10h.
(Obvs I make no money. I just want to see more games with this mechanic.)
Deadside #game is so fun! It's everything #EscapeFromTarkov should have been.
For Game Engines #GBStudio is again the most used by far. All entrants used GBStudio 3.1.0, compared with last year when it was a mix of versions.
A couple #GBDK C entries and a single likely #RGBDS ASM entry.

As an experiment, I created most of the scene in the MoI 3D NURBS / solids editor, then transferred it to ZBrush for bending, blending and sculpting. Finally, the scene was exported to Keyshot for materials, lighting and rendering.

Since I'm hoping this will get a #boost (sorry for all the hashtags!), a little bit about me:
I'm a #game #musician doing #chiptune tributes and also original game soundtracks. I run @bloopmuseum so I use the machines in the #museum to write stuff. If you're into #retro #demoscene stuff, #retrogaming, or #retrocomputing you'd probably dig it, I hope. I focus on authenticity.
Probably my most popular work is #PrettyEightMachine ("#P8M") - the first #nineinchnails album, redone on eight different #8bit machines. I also did #falloutboy and two collections of pop covers.
Most of the time I'm commissioned to do #nintendo #NES stuff but I do have a fun #sega #megadrive / #segagenesis #EDM album that ended up as #OST #VGM for a game on steam.
