Scribus - niestety dramat. W Publisher zrobiłam praktycznie to samo w 15 minut. Z Gimpem to samo. W Adobe Photoshop dwa kliknięcia i usunięte tło za pomocą maski. W Gimpie nawet nie dotarłam do tego etapu.
Nie to że nie lubię open source. Niech te aplikacje będą intuicyjne wraz z sensownymi predefiniowanymi ustawieniami. Tyle mi wystarczy.

Umstände sagen, dass ich wahrscheinlich demnächst meinen Backup-Charakter für eine der #DnD-Kampagnen aus dem Schrank holen muss.
Und natürlich hat mich die Inspiration geschlagen, und ich hab mir einen NEUEN gebaut. 😅
Zum ersten Mal entferne ich mich von den Halblingen, und spiele einen Changeling. Der eigentlich regelmäßig mit einem von nur 2 Gesichtern rumrennt. Also brauch ich Art von beiden. In der gleichen Rüstung, denn anders als bei Druiden ändert sich für Changelings nur der Körper.
Für den Fall finde ich natürlich nix fertiges. Aber ich kann ja #Gimp.
Also mal diverse AI-Generatoren bemüht, und nach einem Abend reiner Verzweiflung kann ich nur sagen:
#FuckImplicitBias.
Selbst mit negativen Promts explizit zu Boob Windows und nackten Bäuchen ist es diesen Generatoren komplett unmöglich, eine voll bekleidete weibliche Kreatur zu erschaffen. Ganz zu schweigen von "No Makeup". Die haben alle Full Face, wenn nicht gar Clown-Level.
Und da wundern sich meine Kollegen, warum ich AI nicht traue, nicht noch schlimmer als echte Menschen zu sein.
Bei Art kann ich es sehen. Bei AI unterstützen Einstellungsrunden habe ich keine Chance, es nachzuweisen.

#Adobe #Photoshop gibt es jetzt als Webanwendung. Was mir ausdrücklich gefällt ist, dass das Team darauf geachtet hat auch #Firefox zu unterstützen. Mein Pixel 6 Pro fällt da wohl nicht darunter :-)
Erklärt mir bitte nicht, dass es #Gimp, #Photoscape oder sonst was gibt. Das wird dann ein Instantblock.

@heikofotografiert Bei mir konkret war auf dem Foto ein umgehängtes Namensschild, unter dem noch ein Zettel hing. Der sollte weg. Mit Löschen und Stempeln in #gimp eine Geduldsprobe, damit in 30 Sekunden erledigt.

I was digging into old stuff a while ago and found out the government used Inkscape and all on school computers around the 2000s and 2010s.
Another one is #GIMP.
The catch? They have it as under “GIMPshop” so it’s just modified GIMP to look like photoshop.
There is no circle tool.
Were these guys just hesitant to pay for #Adobe or stuff? Nowadays I can use Adobe stuff for free under my school until I leave school.
And after you leave high school you're too old for GIMPshop, apparently 😭

Mein Onkel hatte ein simples Bildbearbeitungsprogramm für Windows (PhotoScape / http://www.photoscape.org/ps/main/index.php), welches aber keine Updates mehr bekommt.
Kenn jemensch eine gute Alternative?
Ihm wurde #Gimp installiert, womit er aber überfordert ist (er konnte nicht mal ein Bild öffnen).
Mein Onkel ist über 80 und braucht was einfaches.

Aujourd'hui, j'ai eu droit à un bogue inexplicable dans un célèbre logiciel libre de traitement d'images (#Gimp) alors que j'étais connecté à distance (#RustDesk).
Les outils (de sélection, de déplacement…) faisaient tout et n'importe quoi sauf ce qu'ils auraient dû.
Une simple déconnexion reconnexion a suffi à rétablir le fonctionnement normal.

Firing up #GIMP, everybody's favurite bitmap editor. The goal is to get thick black and white lines.
1.) Colors -> Threshold to separate black and white.
2.) Select the white background with color select tool then grow and shrink the selection by a few pixels then fill with white. This removes most speckles.
3.) Then invert selection or select black. Grow the selection and fill with black to make thick lines.
4.) This is a chance to paint over the artifacts.
4.) Export as PNG

Made 3d-printed necklaces from hand drawn pictures. These are prototypes, the idea is to get the procedure right and then use children's drawing.

Was a spectacular clear day but somewhat compromised by smoke from north western Canada (I'm on the far east coast!).

An easy way to tell if someone is a complete douchebag or not is if they try and defend the name #GIMP for the GNU image editor.
It’s a terrible name, even without going into the offensive slur meaning. I always find the “GNU” crowd to be a bunch of seriously out of touch wierdos. They champion Stallman after all…

Apparently you can make a pretty nice beat up metal texture in #GIMP with the rounded aluminum gradient, plasma noise (at max turbulence, 15% opacity) colorized to hex 777777 with glass tile at 45x45 with a "hard light" replace mode and cubism with a "soft light" replace mode.
