You need:
- one #cauldron #oil #burner UNUSED. Essential oils are not for internal use.
- One #tea-light. If you place tea-lights in freezer they burn twice as slowly. Cutting the wick by half, slows the time too …
Spices:
- #Cinnamon
- #Cloves 2 they are quite strong in flavour
- #Cardamons 1 or two pods
- #Star anise one seed head
- #Ginger
- #Citrus peel
- #Black #pepper corns, 2 or three
- Contents of one tea bag or spoon of tea
All #recipes are passed on or #experimented till right
When the tea-light is out and the #laboratory/#kitchen/#shrine is #fragrant …
#Strain into a pan add equal milk quantity and sugar/honey/sweetener
#Warm to simmering. This recipe takes 3-4 hours and makes two small cups
Can also be made with coffee (Masala or #Jaffna coffee)

No, exactly the opposite.
Bad whisky, massively improved.
This is all the fault of @30yrdscreamer - and what a brilliant idea it is.
So, this is:
Whyte & Mackay, which was something like £8 for a small bottle. This then got infused with a whole chilli and a lot of ginger root chopped up, a clove, a bit of mixed spice and some honey. This got left for a couple of weeks to all combine, with the occasional shake, before I strained it all out.
It's lovely - it's got a serious kick to it, but the honey tones it down. It's really, really good.
So in this glass is 50ml of that, some fresh lemon juice, sugar syrup, Angostura Bitters, and a big ice sphere.
Ooh, it's beautiful. Quite proud of myself. I've made a crappy blend into something magnificent.

Parkin in a breadmaker final update and review. I wrapped the parkin up for a few days as recommended, and it improved, becoming less dry. However, it still was not as good as an oven baked version. Another factor may have been the oatmeal as it's become uncommon on many supermarkets, and I used a version that was more rough and chewy. It was still tasty though, not a fail.

There's much to love about some Linux-based distros, but I very rarely thought of switching away from FreeBSD. It's a cohesive operating system, with a community that's diverse and generally very cooperative.

In spring I broke up one ginger root from the grocery into small pieces and planted half in the ground and half in a pot. They have both done very well. This is the third harvest this year so far and there is much more still to be dug up. Each time I harvest, I put a few pieces back in the ground so I'm hoping they will survive the winter. This little batch will be made into sushi ginger. Did you know if you freeze ginger whole it can be easily grated when needed?

When we left our car in the parking lot to hike up the trail to the top of the Lion's Head cliffs overlooking Georgian Bay in Ontario in 2016, we had to walk a short way along the road and past some houses.
