Hi, all! Actual #introduction time,
I’m Andy, a #softwareengineering student whose progress is on hold due to moving to a new state and some other life factors. I am also a #scriptwriter, #comicartist, and do other #graphicart.
I have a lot of hobbies which I struggle to find time for, but the long term ones are #conlang, music, art, and games (mostly rpg video games and #ttrpg).
I’m new to mastodon and everything related to it! It seemed like a good place to have real conversations and to learn, which is one of my favorite things. I’ll get a proper icon and a new banner up at some point, my skills are fairly rusty since I haven’t used them in several months hah.
My art often uses bright colors and can bump up against gore; I also use skeletons, bones, and weaponry as elements of art pieces. Since it’s hard for me to tell, I try to add cw’s liberally, but if I miss something please feel free to tell me or ask for a warning in the future.

OK, so this is going to seem like a weird one, but it is exactly what I wanted.
I'm working on a graphic art project (imagine David Carson), making a story out of my back-woods wanders through Alaska, combining toy camera pictures, random pop poetry text snippets (some hand-lettered, some printed), found objects, hand layout, and building a big scanner using a digital camera and slide rail - even a little fire.
