I got lost looking for the waiting room. I've found it, thanks to a very nice nurse who walked me here. I think I had that slightly panicked, where the fuck am I expression while I waiting for the elevator. He said, "You look lost." And I smiled & replied, "Yeah, that's partly my general disposition. But I need to find the cardiac waiting room and I don't think this is the right elevator." It wasn't. #Grateful for people who take 2 minutes out of their day to help a stranger.
Amply would be understating how rewarded I am today. Great views on the bus ride. Then the most magnificent day and hike - made it to the top of #Eboshidake (Mt Eboshi) of the Aso group with gorgeous views on the way up and down and atop. Paused too many times for too many pics but made it back in time for the 2nd last bus back to #Aso station and the bus ride back to #Kumamoto

Today marks a year since I lost my best friend Foxxy Cleopatra, and not a day goes by.
Some days I awake and forget she’s no longer with us, and think like I’m going to be consumed by grief.
I miss her very much, but I’m grateful that I was loved by and loved the most amazing friend a human could ever ask for. For twelve years, from coast to coast, I carry her forever with me. 🧡🤍🖤

I saw this kingfisher a number of times today, well hidden in the branches of the gum tree.
Sky had a lovely time trying to engage in play with a Huntaway cross who was Frisbee fixated.
Saw the planet Mercury in the sunset-lit horizon for the first time in my life.
It’s the faint speck in the middle of this photo. His sister Venus is bright in the upper left hand corner.
Mercury became brighter as the sky darkened but this is only a photo with my simple cell phone and it will have to suffice.
Speechless.
this past week was a pretty incredible time performing in the Bay Area. Really engaged, responsive crowds in a variety of settings. feels like community+culture is tipping back into focus.

As I write with @write_as and post to the #fediverse the engagement on my writing has gone through the roof. I’m just a small time nobody. But my last two bits of writing have been read by over 300 people. That’s a big deal for someone like me.

Here, I even get reposts by people I don’t know. It’s wild.

I have accomplished the #HolidayHomeImprovementProject before noon!
I’d planned to repaint the toilet seat in one of our bathrooms due to the white coming off. Instead the lid snapped off, the plastic bits fell apart, so I replaced it. Picking a lid that required only a standard screwdriver for install was smart thinking, especially as I’ve never done this repair.
#Grateful the website measure of difficulty aligned to my experience of said difficulty! My rehab-y hand was also able to help with only a few complaints (it might swell up later)!
Today had several highlights and I’m posting a gratitude list because even though I usually can’t stand this kind of thing perhaps it’ll be good for me:
- emailed a friend (after not doing it for a while)
- received a delivery of EIGHT (8) cans of baked beans
- trimmed my nails
- enjoyed watching the first half of Munich (2005)
- sang along to Sweet Child O’ Mine this morning

I really hope to make this one of the last posts for help. I am on the path, it will take time.
I am in negative bank account stress. I have my meds for the next month. Food and rent pulled me down. It got worse. Need to be above the line soon or it will hit a few hundred soon.
Still trying to manage to raise a few hundred I will be set until I can expect books and other projects to generate enough. Even if I start a job it will be 2-4 weeks before that would start paying depending on the job and hours.
I do not talk about my disabilities often. Crippling social anxiety and Extreme Depressive Disorder.Sober for about seventeen months now. I am in the home unless my partner can get me out to something about once a week.
I will update when I get anything.
I am open to working for you. Music, voice work, art, writing modeling or video editing. Super Cheap and I work fast.

Today marks 35 years of continuous sobriety for me.
It boggles my mind, to tell you the truth, because I remember what a mess I was and how I barely got through day one.
It took three AA meetings just to get through that day, but it gave me hope the following day that I could do it again.
And I did.
And then I did it again.
And at a certain point, it got easier.
A day at a time, the years have taken care of themselves.
I'm going to go pinch myself now.
