This one-stop facility will house a community center, health clinic, and pharmacy, offering resources for those living with HIV. Homeowners in #HamptonRoads are facing limited options for home insurance as companies withdraw coverage from the Oceanfront area. One resident had his policy dropped by Nationwide after 20 years. He contacted other major companies like USAA and Hartford but found no one willing to insure the area due to the risk of storms and storm damage. Insurance agents confirm that major companies have stopped covering certain coastal areas due to increased storm activity and claims. The resident had previously filed an $18,000 claim for hurricane damage. While smaller insurance companies may still provide coverage, the trend of companies pulling out of coastal areas is growing nationwide as they aim to reduce exposure to risk.

So this apartment complex has been condemned for a year, evicting hundreds of tenants with a 48 hour notice.
Now they are opening units again, advertising under a new name, despite owing over $140,000 to Newport News Waterworks for which they were sued last month.

It’s also mentioned that services may be “shut off” to force compliance, which would cause the building to fail inspection."
