Its a neck support for use by a guitar luthier. Because of its shape, various sizes and types of guitars can be supported by this whilst being worked upon. The cork pieces gently hold and protect the neck. The trident is just the manufacturer's logo.

Is a type 65A timed and percussion fuze, found at a place called Wadi Rutm fort, an Ottoman/German base in what is now Jordan. It sat on the front of a 10 pound artillery shell, fired on 19th April 1918. As reported by the War Diary of the 10lb Mountain Gun section of the Royal Field Artillery.

Let's start the day with our usual #MorningMoments and have you tell me about your day so far or what you're hoping to accomplish during the day today.
For me, nothing too much. Going to try and get some more Wayfinder time in as I managed to get 2 - 3 hours last night before heading to bed. Other than that, just rest and relax.
If you fancy a bit of a challenge, you can research the markings on the base (head stamp), and find out where the shell was made, the calibre, and other interesting things.
I have worked on quite a few WW1 sites, and wanted something to commemorate that. I bought it online several years ago, and it now sits on the hearth in my fireplace.
