And in #ElectronicMusic, it just means "fast."
I've been a sucker for #HappyHardcore since the 90s. That stuff wouldn't hurt a fly. It's just aggressively cheerful, has lyrics sappy enough to make pancake syrup, and has a cruising speed of 140+ bpm (the good stuff is 170+, in my opinion).

S.I.N. Records released the compilation “The Big Apple Rotten To The Core”
This is another NYC comp documenting mostly underground hardcore bands from the very early 80’s. Released the same year, and similar to the compilation “New York Thrash”
Six NYC hardcore bands, none of which really went anywhere. But this was influential in and around NYC, as it got played by the local “new music” station WLIR.
In fact, the popularity of the album prompted WLIR to start a weekly broadcast called Midnight Riot, which featured the other bands on the album as well as many other local hardcore bands, all part of their attempt to showcase more punk, hardcore, and otherwise “underground music”.
It’s an important snapshot of the NYC scene at the time. It sounds good to my ears. The songs are aggressive, reasonably well produced, and just straight-ahead, angry guitar punk.

Don't be afraid about the German language aspect - it's a show to raise your attention for new unheard #music all over the genre spectrum - and exactly this music is what has priority above all other things; so not speaking German at all wont protect you from being sonically pleasured! :)
This time there will be a nice acoustic chill with lots of different musical styles, all insanely cramped into one hour of air time.

- #beatless #Hiphop (cuz beats are overrated!)
- #DanceMusic straight from LA (why am I writing "straight" all the time → this is all but "straight" btw!)

- and gentle experimental electronics from the Rhein-Westerwald area in Germany

Lot of women singing in metal/hardcore bands these days. I love it. They tend to sing differently than men traditionally have in these genres. It brings a fresh element that’s long overdue.
One of these bands is Flowers for Burial. The pre-release of their record “Animus” is out now. And it slays. It’s also on my good friend’s record label, Protagonist Music.
