Overlooking Sunderland University's St Peter's Campus on the River Wear, this is the Saxon church from which it takes it's name.
St Peter's was founded in AD674, part of what would become a double Benedictine monastery, the other site being established in Jarrow on the banks of the Tyne.

The old city of Phuket has really beautiful ancient buildings to offer. I like most the ones with balconies. The sky was in perfect clear blue color, so that I took a photography in low angle view. That way the white color fits great with the blue.

The Old Burying Ground was established in the early 1700's. Located in North Carolina's third oldest town, it contains graves starting with wars with the Coree and Neusiok Native American tribes, the Revolutionary and Civil wars, and as recently as 1900.
