Some people write great #OriginalPosts but they #boost too much. For every OP, 100 boosts. These fill my Home and prevent 100 other posts from being shown.

I can follow the account and selectively #hide its boosts (not OPs) in my #Home. But the 100 boosts still count toward the #TimelineLimit of 400 (800) posts.

Idea: set up a separate account to follow heavy-boosters. That account's timeline shows me only OPs of heavy boosters. Anyone tried this?

First rough outline (using yellow extension cables 😂 ) of a possible natural backyard swimming pond. Swimming portion would be the roughly rectangular part in front of the hazelnut tree. About 18ft by 6ft. 6ft at deepest. Exact placement will depend on where the house sewage pipe is. It veers to the south (toward the camera) near the circle of dead grass. There would be a large shallow skimmer/bog filter area on each side of the tree. Second picture is an example. #gardening #home

So, I've been trying to resolve an issue with the wind catching my vertical blinds when my balcony door is open. I've been looking in stores for solutions several times, and asked for ideas in the store that sold me the blinds.

Today, I was looking for something in the drawer where I keep all my leftover IKEA pieces, and there it was: THE SOLUTION!

I have a stack of those brackets that you're supposed to use to fix shelves to the wall. It fit perfectly 😁

Being #GenX makes all this loneliness bearable. We’ve been ignored and on-our-own with maybe one little tear when we left home, but we never really looked back. Where is your #home? Not with them. It was never with them. I make my own home. I fill it with my life. One of the core lessons we learned, being GenX, is the safe harbor of normal. Making the normal out of whatever living wreckage you had on hand at the time. That makes us resilient. #today
