I do like using a #Shortcut on my #iPhone15 when pressing the #ActionButton, but one thing I find slightly annoying for my setup (considering my new shortcut is basically just a fancified mute switch) is that it doesn't activate in my pocket like the stock actions do. Now I understand exactly why this isn't a thing, but is there an option for this not to be the case?

The camera basically racks focus as you take the picture, taking a series of pictures like a video. Then you can refocus or change the virtual aperture.

Problem: in the adorable yo-yo charging handshake they do back and forth (fuller battery charges emptier), they just both die before the transfer is done.
Solution: insane MagSafe set up.
New problem: overheating (I presume—very warm). Right one is toggling charging on and off every few minutes.
I was happy to hear about new lens coatings in the iPhone 15 generation to reduce lens flare. Contexts activating right on the minute is so satisfying
I’ve found that when setting up contextual Shortcuts, they quickly become cluttered with nested if statements, and they’re slow.
In the evenings, I’ve been working on an app called Contexts. It makes it incredibly easy to build conditional shortcuts based on location, time of day, day of week, and more.
Contexts can determine what actions to run (or a choice of action) when pressing the action button, or you can use the “is context active” shortcut action to do anything conditionally.
Right now, you can set one shortcut per Context, but in the coming nights, I’ll enable assigning multiple shortcuts based on context.

Ah hahahaha @castirony inspired me to plug my Azeron into my #iPhone15 and it works. Every button is bound to mostly punctuation etc but it works haha.
The #AppleWatch series 9 find #iPhone15 feature is so well done. Only needs sounds until you get in range, and then one more when you get very close.
Nice when one needs to use it late at night.
Really digging the #iPhone15 action button. While setting up the new cable modem, the app needed the CMAC.
Tip modem on side, point phone at the bottom, press and hold action, haptic, click, flash comes on, tap photo, copy CMAC out of photo and paste into app.
Like anything but an animal.
Now that clickbait season is over, is #iPhone15 durability a real issue?
#iPhone15 folks: I thought the new Action button replacing the mute switch had *two* behaviors:
1) Press it to mute/unmute
2) Hold it to perform an assigned action from a handful of options like DND, flashlight, a Shortcut, etc.

Is the #iPhone15 screen somehow brighter? Sharper? I can’t pick it out but it looks better.
It didn’t look bad at all! But I cannot figure it out.
One thing about a new #iPhone15 is that none of the coating is worn off and the screen is slippery smooth.

Elizabeth picked the iPhone 14 as the lighter phone when laying flat in both hands. It was a blind weight test.
The weight is more noticeable when used one handed but not as earth shattering to me as for others.
My personal voice transferred over and Carrot is still using it. Nice.
If you set the action button of the #iPhone15 to Camera to take a photo, you can hold down the action button to start taking a video. Releasing the action button stops the recording!
Am trying an #iPhone15 direct transfer (Apple employee said to use a backup so the cruft would not copy over, but I want to see how what most people would try works)
