If your universities want to "level the playing field" in ways that mainly mean that well-to-do students prosper, they're not levelling the playing field, rather they are stacking the deck in favor of those already favored.
Often, faculty laziness (*) plays right into this.
For instance: Exams that assume everyone can memorize the books are very easy to make, and don't require much planning or understanding.
Ultimately, this sort of exam doesn't even require the examiner to have read the book.

Individually everyone stands a fair chance of being tried for what one is on one's own.So anyone aware enough prepares to resign for #society and be self dependent, politically , economically, functionally. In heated moments I admit I still slip up, but I’ve gotten sensitized enough that I cringe when I hear people throwing around those words, and when appropriate share this link.
Then if those same people would include captions and image descriptions…
