Bin durch mit #AfterUs. Mein schnelles Fazit zu diesem #Game: Geschmeidige Spielmechanik, optisch hätte man noch mehr rausholen können, Spaß und Melancholie geben sich hier die Hand. Das Spiel punktet vor allem durch seine Story, die nur in Bildern erzählt wird, und mir oft schwer im Magen lag. Es hat mir Spaß gemacht zu spielen, aber es hat auch emotionalen Schmerz verursacht, dem menschlichen Zerstörungswahn, im Umgang mit Tier und Umwelt, zuzusehen.

Also working on a Godot 4 tech demo. Something that will push the graphical capabilities of the game engine. Visuals that include storytelling as well as pushing high-fidelity visuals/animations. Something we haven't really seen done with the engine before (at least I haven't). So, stay tuned for that as well. I hope to share more soon.

Characters in Liblast are now textured! The characters have a special shader that uses an SDF texture to produce the 3-part material that merges user-defined color with a team color (lime or plum). Unfortunately a Godot bug makes it so the outline is no longer there (I had to turn it off), but hopefully once that's fixed we'll have both.

Worked on Yellow River Kingdom tonight. Rocking saturday nights around here...
Got the animated attack working, which only leaves the animated flooding for this to be feature complete.
Needed to split the compute turn function and then use a callback to make it work.
So if you liked Dungeon Keeper and can imagine it being like Terraria and Minecraft you would love Core Keeper. I got it on instant-gaming.com for 6 bucks which was way cheaper than anywhere else I'd seen.
Feels so much like Dungeon Keeper without being the same game at all, lol...
