I’ve been geeking for a little over 20 years and have found the past year or two very discouraging. Things don’t work, you often have to do something 2 to 3 times before it does (just tried to do a basic download of Ventura - to upgrade/reinstall a couple of client computers - using the terminal and it failed twice before it worked). The definition of insanity must be repeatedly ignored when working in IT. Back in the day, this was more the exception than the rule...
