What image management solution would you recommend for a static site? With a free tier.
I'm building a site with an image gallery. The client should be able to easily upload an image to a folder. That's it.
I don't need fancy AI transformations, etc. Just storage with a UI. And a CDN, I suppose.

So, #NetlifyCMS got a new name a couple of weeks ago: #DecapCMS. But right before Netlify announced the new owner/name, a community fork called #StaticCMS was created. And – compared to Decap CMS which is still mostly dormant – the fork actually put a lot of work in and is about to release a new major version v2 in about two weeks. The term #jamstack seems to have become quite muddled — there isn't an emphasis on pre-rendering anymore, for example. I was reading this from @remotesynth, where he argues Jamstack is now more of a community term than an architectural one: https://remotesynthesis.com/blog/jamstack-in-2023/. There does indeed seem to be a healthy Jamstack community, but I wondered if others have any thoughts on this? I used to write about Jamstack a lot in 2020, but now it's not really on my mind when I write about web dev trends.
