Yesterday I took my kids to the park and there was this other group of kids (maybe 9-12?) playing a modified version of tag that somehow incorporated rick rolling into the game.

Usually we just play like normal but I have to call her daddy & I get fed up quickly, or we'll play were I over-the-top impersonate her by whining about everything and she gets mad about it. The last few days, however, I have been playing such that I ho out of my way to act like how I wish she would "daddy we can watch cartoons, but I know you work so hard all day, so if you want to watch wrestling we can" etc. We've actually been able to play for hours. I also feel like I've learned more about how hard it is to be her "here daddy you can play with your phone if you want". I love these #kids

This week I hooked up an Airtag to my 7yo nephews backpack as he has a history of losing stuff. I connected it to one of the zippers with a durable Keychain that can be easily unhooked. The smart part of my brain kept screaming that something silly would happen, but I ignored. The first thing he did when he got to school was unhook it to bring with him to recess because he was afraid he would decide to wander off into the forest, and he wanted to be findable. #kids #funny #story

A few weeks ago I talked about classdojo.com, a site for schools/teachers that sent me a link to "my" account - it was for a child in England, not my child, their security sucks, this site is trash. I wrote to the school AND the website about it.
FYI, they're now sending me updates about "my" child. Photos, names, info, everything. Also? Kid's actual mom seems to also have an account now - I was alerted when she signed up!
