Cold Plunge

For #WaterfallWednesday this week, here is Gullfoss ('Golden Falls'), probably one of the best known cataracts in #Iceland.

Hvítá river flows down a wide staircase of rocks - behind us in this shot - and then plunges 32 m/105 ft into Vondagljúfur canyon.

This particular photo was taken the first time we saw Gullfoss in 2014. I was completely fascinated by it!

Something different. Abandoned dreamscape.

It's taken far too long to do this, purely because the distressed paint effect (that you can barely see) needs to be done in one sitting and takes about an hour and a half and I couldn't find a point an hour and a half and the motivation to do this specific thing for months. Will be playing with these models a bit more and seeing what surreal landscapes I can create with them.

I'm totally exhausted. Just got done mowing five yards. Normally it's only four, but the neighbor across the road asked me to mow his as he still can't do it because of his stroke a month or so ago. So I agreed to do it to help him of course.

Two and a half hours to mow five yards, weed eat, trim and blow all the trimmings off.
